NXP shrinks radar chip to enhance autonomous driving

NXP's radar transceiver technology has shrunk to the size of a postage stamp, but is still able to make vehicles safer on the road and bring increased autonomy to driving. The firm has developed its smallest single-chip 77GHz radartransceiver with high-resolution performance for use in on-board advanced driver assistance systems.The radar could even be used to replace ultrasonic sensors.
