September's Frankfurt Motor Show and, to some extent, last month's London Motor Show revealed not just concepts but also mainstream vehicles. These included the Audi A2 and BMW Z8, both of which use aluminium spaceframes, the Fiat Multipla with its steel spaceframe and, on the alternative front, the Toyota Prius and the aluminium spaceframe-based Honda Insight. Concepts included the BMW Z9 gran turismo and the Opel G90.
