Vale Constable Casey Blain

The officer's life was cut tragically short at 29 years of age in a traffic crash whilst he was on duty at Georgetown on 29 March. Sadly, Constable Blain left behind his wife Lena and their four-year-old son, Mark. At the conclusion of the funeral service, police and Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel lined the streets in a guard of honour which stretched from the church to the Mareeba Police Station where he had served for the past four years.
