On the 28 August, 1992 Siti Bahyah Binti Dato Mohad Yusof was made the subject of a missing person report with the West Australian Police Force. Siti Bahyah, a Malaysian student was studying in Perth at the time she went missing. Siti was born in Kuala Lumpur on 7 January, 1971 and was the much loved daughter of a Malaysian businessman Dato Mohad Yusof Bin Mohad Amin and his wife Darin Siti Zabedah. The title Dato is bestowed by Malaysian royalty and is the Malaysian equivalent of a knighthood. Her father is described as a wealthy Malaysian businessman and territorial chieftain in the district of Petaling, Selangor.
