'Five star resort' to be built for McLaren Vale frogs

The Buttery Family, owners of Gemtree Vineyards at McLaren Vale, and Greening Australia SA have signed a long-term agreement to jointly continue the development of the Gemtree Wetlands at McLaren Vale. 'It will virtually be a five star resort for frogs with native vegetation. Logs for entry and exit from the water are being introduced to the sides of the six existing dams to encourage frogs onto the site,' said Andrew Buttery, general manager of Gemtree Vineyards.
