Raytheon Solipsys introduces web-based visualization and collaboration tool

Raythen Solipsys has added a web-based visualization and collaboration tool to its command and control software product line. Built on the Tactical Display Framework (TDF), Raytheon Solipsys' flagship platform for tactical geospatial visualization, TDF Portal enables transmission of maps and tactical data that can be displayed in layers customized for an operation and seen by remote operators. The TDF is a key part of the RAAF's Vigilare air defence command and control system. "Through an Internet connection and a standard Web browser, TDF Portal allows participants in different locations to see the same operational picture, providing common situational awareness across a broad theater," said Mark Trenor, president of Raytheon Solipsys.
