Prism Defence's extensive experience in aviation operations and ship-helicopter trials at sea with navies across the world has been applied to the REtD of systems to make ship-based aviation operations more efficient and safer. The HeliSafe system is a ship-based software system developed by and designed to interface with a ship's instrumentation and sensors in order to simplify and automate many of the manual processes involved in aircraft operations to and from a ship's flight deck. The HeliSafe system comprises a number of modules that also assist in operational planning, recording, playback and reporting of aviation related activities.
