WFEL offers solution for Land 155

Nearly 40 years ago, WFEL first supplied its Modular Bridge System, the world-renowned Medium Girder Bridge (MGB), to the Australian armed forces. The robust design of the MGB, allied with a local sustainable maintenance support structure, has allowed the equipment to stand the test of time. MGBs are still being manufactured today and are in use with 39 armed forces worldwide. The MGB has long been recognised as a perfect example of 'dual use' equipment: it provides a vital role not only on military operations, but also in helping to alleviate and sustain civilian relief support efforts following natural disasters.
