ON THE TWO-DIMENSIONAL γ, β DISTRIBUTION

The recent paper by Professor Onishchenko [Atomic Energy, 83, 500-508 (1997)] introduced a novel two-dimensional distribution referred to as the γ, β distribution. The paper derived various expressions to describe the properties of the distribution. The expressions were limited to certain special cases because it was claimed that general expressions are hard to derive. In this note, we show that one can actually derive general expressions. We also derive expressions for some properties not considered in Onishchenko (1997).
