Galaxy Groups and modified dynamics

摘要

I estimate median, modified dynamics (MOND) N/L values for recently published catalogs of galaxy groups. While the median, Newtonian M/L values quoted for these catalogs are 110-200 h~75(M/L)_⊙, the corresponding Values for MOND are less than 10 (M/L)_⊙ (where the mass includes contributions from galactic and intragroup Gas).
