LCD units with DVD player are mainstream

Mainstream combination TVs from mainland China and Taiwan usually feature DVD player function. Makers have integrated additional interfaces to their units such as external card readers, and USB, DVI and HDMI ports. The mainstream TV-DVD combos offered in mainland China feature 14in to 21in CRT screens, or LCD panels in sizes of 15in, 19in, 23in and 26in. Specifications include built-in DVD players that support VCDs and CDs, as well as MP3 and JPEG. MPEG-4/DivX support is optional. Composite video and S-video input ports are common for CRT models; while composite video, S-video and VGA input ports are usually present in LCD models. Many high-end models have integrated YPbPr/YcbCr video, and DVI and HDMI ports.
