Hdmi Adapter Uses Low-cost Cat 5e, Cat 6 Utp Cables

The EVT-SB1-H HDMI adapter from Superior Electronics Corp. connects HDMI devices using low-cost Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cables without signal loss. The adapter works with fill- motion video and audio signal up to 60m, as well as with 480i/480p, 576i/576p, 720i/720p and 1080i/1080p displays. It supports DDC, EDID and hot-plug detection, as well as HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.1. The device has equalization and signal boost function, and automatically adjusts the equalization and amplification to eliminate feedback. Its signaling rates reach 2.25Gb.
