'Clarity' accepted for SG's Intelligent Energy

Clarity, the award-winning provider of unified solutions designed to simplify operations across Utilities and Telecoms, announced that, alongside partner ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) Pte Ltd, it has been accepted by Accenture to implement Phase 1 of the Intelligent Energy System (IES) pilot project spearheaded by Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA). The IES is an important step towards a smarter power grid, which will provide its consumers more information, choice and control over their electricity usage. Phase 1 of the project needs smart metering infrastructures, protocols and standards.
