Quezon Power's new coal tech for the Philippines

In an exclusive interview with Asian Power, Quezon Power Philippines managing director Frank Thiel shares the lessons he gained from running Quezon Power Philippines Ltd, its 460MW coal-fired power plant which started in 2000, and the new 500MW San Buenaventura Power Plant, which will be the first plant to use supercritical technology in the country. He also gives a glimpse of an upcoming 70MW wind farm the company plans to build close to the coal plants' site.
