MILITARY FORCES TAKE ON SPACE WARFARE

The advent of importance of aerospace technology for military purposes has many countries into setting up some form of aerospace force, units, commands, or organisations. Initially the domain of major powers such as United States and Russia, this development of space warfare is followed closely by China. Countries like France, United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy are also in the mix, collectively through the European Space Agency and the various military commands. Regional powers are also in the fray. These include Japan, India, South Korea and Australia. In this issue, ADJ looks at some of the development in space technology by the major powers and countries in the Asia-Pacific.
