Indian Navy Boots Training with New Facilities

Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy Admiral Sunil Lanba inaugurated the maiden "state-of-the-art" virtual reality centre at the Directorate of Naval Design (Surface Ship Group), on April 12, 2019. This centre would provide major boost to the indigenous warship design capabilities of the Indian Navy, providing impetus to self-reliance and greater stimulus to warship construction under the "Make in India" initiative of the Indian government.
