Indigenous Fighter Development Programmes: An Asian Overview

Much has been said over the years about the various indigenous fighter programmes being developed by a number of Asian nations. For a multitude of reasons, many nations still harbour ambitions to develop their own combat aircraft despite the fact that they are long-drawn, expensive and problematic affairs. In Asia, and indeed throughout the world, the number of such programmes have now dwindled to just a handful. ADJ provides a brief update on these programmes that have been of keen interest and significance in recent years.
