4th Electronic Warfare 2008 Conference & Exhibition

The 4th EW 2008 conference and exhibition was successfully held from Nov 18-20, 2008. The event was officiated by the Deputy Defence Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman Yusop, and it has gained the attention from both local and international electronic warfare players. The three-day conference programme were filled with 18 high-powered speakers from France, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, Germany, Canada, Turkey and Malaysia. Presented were 18 papers by 18 highly reputable speakers from the industry-government research and development agencies as well as the armed forces. More than 250 participants attended the conference, from the regional ministries of defence, armed forces, and the defence industry. Various significant topics were presented, covering issues on total EW solutions, which were relevant to the conference theme-Total Solution for Electronic Warfare. Several of the registered renowned speakers were from the Malaysian Armed Forces, and companies such as Tactical Technologies from Canada, MilSOFT from Turkey, as well as Sapura Defence and HeiTech Padu from Malaysia.
