US Navy Awards Raytheon Low Rate Initial Production Contract for SM-6 Missiles

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $93,851,886 fixed price incentive fee, firm fixed price contract for the initiate low rate initial production of the fiscal year 2009 Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) Block 1 all up rounds (AURs). This contract will provide for the procurement of 19 SM-6 Block 1 AUR's, 20 SM-6 Block 1 AUR instrumentation kits, and SM-6 Block I spares and containers. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, (50%); Camden, Arkansas, (23%); Boston, Massachusetts, (5%); Dallas, Texas, (4%); Hanahan, South Carolina, (3%); Anniston, Alabama, (2%); San Jose, California, (2%); and others (11%), and is expected to be completed by March 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
