US Approves Possible Sale of E-2D AEW&C Planes to Japan

The US State Department has approved the possible sale to Japan of four E-2D Advanced Hawkeye AEW&C aircraft built by Northrop Grumman Corp, a supply contract valued at around $1.7 billion, the Pentagon announced June 1.
