摘要

Acts of violence or as it is called now, "terror" is a conduct which has long plagued the international community. In the old days, terror was often associated with annexation of territories between warlords. As countries are formed and the need to protect their sovereignties arose, acts of terror changed to the form of wars or intrusions into other nation's territories by force. Regardless of the modus operandi, the acts of terror itself are enough to instil fear in the minds of the victims and nations that are affected. These violent actions of small groups of individuals-the terrorists-could hinder, and can even paralyse the spirit of trustworthiness amongst members of the international community. Suspicions between nations could build barricade to international relations and rocks the geo-political stability of the world at large. And this is exactly what the terrorists wanted.
