Indosat Ooredoo rolls out OpenRAN field trials on 4G network

Indosat Ooredoo, the wireless telecommunications provider in Indonesia, has conducted OpenRAN (Radio Access Network) field trials on its video grade 4G network, including proof of concept and functional testing.According to a press release from the Indonesian operator, these field trials were carried out in several locations in the Maluku region from March to the end-April. The trials were supported by the Telecom Infra Project's (TIP) OpenRAN Project Group and Parallel Wireless.
