Digi partners with TIME dotCom to boost fiber broadband footprint

Malaysia's Digi has announced a collaboration with TIME dotCom with a view to expanding its fiber broadband footprint to more premises. According to local news outlet SoyaCincau, as per the deal between the two companies Digi will be able to offer services over TIME'S existing fiber broadband infrastructure, and it expects this to enable it to increase its reach in condominiums and apartment buildings in particular. At present, Digi's 'Home Fiber' broadband offering - which offers downlink speeds of up to 1 Gbps - is reportedly available in Sabah as well as selected areas in the Klang Vallev and Melaka.
