Acer launches Mango-based smartphone in Taiwan

Taiwan-based PC and handheld device maker Acer launched its Mango-based smartphone, the W4, during Computex 2011. However, the company refrained from offering the device to visitors for testing purposes as it awaits additional details from Microsoft. Acer plans to augment some of W4's features before commencing volume production during the fourth quarter.
