Technology transfer information services: China's efforts to facilitate the commercialization of innovations

China has established a favourable policy environment and embarked on a successful strategy for the promotion of technology innovation and transfer. She is strengthening technology transfer information services in order to facilitate the commercialization of new innovations. The mechanism involves the promotion of networking among intermediary service organizations, such as technology innovation service organizations, technology assessment organizations, technology agents and technology information consultancy service organizations. This article provides an overview of the prevailing status of technology transfer information services in China.
