A huge market is around the corner

With almost 400 million homes equipped with television sets, the Asia-Pacific region represents the largest potential market in the world for Direct-To-Home (DTH) or Direct Broadcast by Satellite (DBS) services. Currently, satellite broadcasters throughout the region are trying to capitalise on the liberalisation of many satellite broadcast regulatory environments, while at the same time many of them are setting up DTH platforms with which they hope to serve those markets which still are to be liberalised.
