IN MEMORIAM FOR PROFESSOR JESUS R. ARTALEJO (JANUARY 29, 1963-JUNE 12, 2013)

Our dear departed friend and admired scholar, Professor Jesus R. Artalejo passed away unexpectedly on 12 June 2013 at the age of 50. He was attending the Annual Conference of the Society for Mathematical Biology in Arizona (USA). Jesus R. Artalejo was Full Professor in the Faculty of Mathematics at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in Spain, having obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from there in 1991.
