MOVING FROM THE TRADITIONAL TO THE MODERN AUTOMATED SYSTEMS

The four-day webinar series on Modern Radio Studio Automation Systems began with an introductory session presented by Mr Steve Ahern, who is the CEO of Ahern Media and Training, with the title "Moving from the Traditional to the Modern Automated Systems". Steve focused on the need for automation systems and how traditional workflows have been enhanced with the use of automated computerised systems to improve efficiency and productivity. The session looked at a breakdown of the functions and processes taking place in a radio station and how some of these processes, which required human initiation and intervention, have slowly changed to computer-assisted and automated routines.
