Nittoku Engineering Co., Ltd. has developed a new winding method, which is still under patent application, wherein the lamination factor of the wire wound around the magnetic pole of the inner-type stator increases more than 20 percent compared to nozzle or hook winding. According to Nobushige Kondo, President of Nittoku Engineering, the company will strengthen its proposals, expecting that coil winding machines using the new method will become the mainstream in non-split core type stator winding in the future.
