The commercial launch of Long Term Evolution (LTE), as the most promising 4G mobile broadband technology, is set to open a new wave of applications and services, particularly those that will improve the lives of the people, leveraging a high-capacity and high-performance network. By 2010, several mobile operators are set to launch their respective LTE-based services.
