Tektronix Inc. has released the MDO3000 Series oscilloscope, which incorporates six measuring instruments, including spectrum analyzer, in a compact housing. The concept behind the development of the MDO3000 Series was "evolving Mixed Domain Oscilloscope (MDO), ultimate 6-in-1 oscilloscope." It paves the way for the construction of multiple test environments using a single unit. The main target market of the oscilloscope is the embedded equipment design market.
