Anritsu's GCF Approval Verifies CA Function of LTE-A Terminals

Anritsu Corporation has obtained an approval from the Global Certification Forum (GCG) for more than 80 percent of radio frequency/radio resource management (RF/RRM) conformance test cases. This enables the verification of the Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) Carrier Aggregation (CA) function of LTE-Advanced (LTE-A). RF conformance test cases are test items for verifying that transmission and reception characteristics and performance of mobile terminals satisfy the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards. RRM conformance test cases are test items relating to the control of resources, such as wireless circuits, between base stations and mobile terminals.
