Nippon Mektron is a global subsidiary of NOK Corporation, a Japanese company. In 2015, Nippon Mektron (Mektec Group) generated sales of some US$3.6 billion from flexible printed circuits (FPC) and FPC modules. Customers in telecommunications and data technology generate the largest sales volumes for Mektec Group, both with 30 percent of total sales. US$360 million are generated by automotive customers. The company has some 30,000 employees and holds production sites in China, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and countries in Europe.
