ASM Assembly Systems underscores its leadership claim for smart surface-mount technology (SMT) manufacturing solutions at the NEPCON China trade show in Shanghai last April 25 to 27. On four production lines for a wide range of applications and with many live demonstrations at its booth, the company presented state-of-the-art software and systems from its SIPLACE, DEK, E by SIPLACE and E by DEK brands. The focus is also on coordinated solution packages for workflows in the areas of material management, production planning, line monitoring and setup changeover that are at least partly automated, and therefore much more efficient and reliable.
