Yamaha's Smart Solution Gets an Upgrade with Premium Mounter

Yamaha Motor establishes its position as an industry-leading full lineup manufacturer of SMT equipment. It also detailed its efforts to construct a highly efficient mounting factory through smart manufacturing by achieving advanced M2M linkage without black box and maximizing synergetic effects on the basis of 1-STOP SMART SOLUTION concept enabled only by Yamaha. In July 2019, Yamaha Motor integrated its operations with SHINKAWA LTD., APIC YAMADA CORPORATION, and PFA Corporation, and established Yamaha Motor Robotics Holdings Co., Ltd. as the first total solution provider in Japan. Through this company, Yamaha intends to construct a system that enables the provision of advanced total solutions early on, based on the 1-STOP SMART SOLUTION concept, toward the fusion of the semiconductor back-end assembly process and the surface mounting process, which is expected to take place in the coming years (Fig. 14).
