Polyplastics Expands Technical Centers for Automotive Plastics

Polyplastics Co., Ltd. has opened a new Technical Solution Center in a suburb in Detroit, United States in a bid to boost the de-velopment of its engineering plastics business for automotive solutions. As one of the leading manufacturers of engineering plastics used in electronic com-ponents, such as connectors, Polyplastics produces a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) called LAPEROS; polybutylene terephthal-ate (PBT) resin called DURANEX PBT; polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin called DURAFIDE PPS; and other plastics. The company has set up a meticulous support system from the initial stages of customer's product designing processes, such as de-signing a shape and mold optimal for resin, to secondary processes, such as the forming process and bonding process.
