Polyplastics to Expand Malaysian Unit For Engineering Plastics Compound

Kuala Lumpur— Polyplastics Co. Ltd. has decided to expand its engineering plastics compound facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Operated by wholly-owned subsidiary Polyplastics Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, the plant will be expanded by 9,000 t/y to a total capacity of 35,000 t/y. Completion is scheduled at the end of this year and commercial operation is expected to begin in June 2017.
