Accounting for Non-Quadratic Behavior of AHU Systems in Determination of Airflow Rate

摘要

This article proves that the use of the quadratic duct system formula to calculate changes in air flows and pressures will lead to errors when applied in cases with considerable internal resistance in the air handling unit. It also demonstrates methodologies for a more accurate calculation of fan system parameters.
