Skilled worker shortage costing U.S. technology companies millions

According to a national survey by The Wats House, US technological companies are not able to find skilled workers and the shortage is costing them big bucks. Eighty-five percent of those who responded indicated that closing the skills gap and employing a fully trained, fully staffed workforce would have a direct positive effect on the sales of the company. One in 10 respondents said that closing the skills gap would double sales, and for one in 4, it would increase sales by 50% or more. The key factors that contribute to the skills gap are rapidly changing technology and the need to increase productivity.
