Network controller provides integrated IP routing

Perle Systems' 594T Network Controller provides AS/400 users with a full-featured yet cost-efficient means to connect both twinax- and Lan-based (IP) users at small remote sites to corporate resources across an IP-only backbone. The IP-enabled configuration supports the connection of up to 8 twinax and/or 80 Ethernet or token ring devices. With the Perle 594T optional IP Routing Feature, which operates using TCP/IP over Frame Relay protocol, users can route traffic from remote Lan-based IP devices straight onto a corporate wide-area network. The integrated IP routing reduces users' costs by decreasing the number of networking devices to be purchased and managed.
