Army Reserve Fixed Wing Aviation

For a third year in a row 6-52nd Theater Fixed Wing Battalion (TFWB) of the Army Reserve Aviation Command (ARAC) has provided a self-deployable and proficient capability to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Combatant Commander. The fixed wing requirement has developed over time and highlights the ready and relevant force the Army Reserve Fixed Wing program can deliver. Real-world fixed wing training has improved unit readiness and provided a conduit to train as we fight. Over the past three years, 6-52nd TFWB has progressively increased training and mission support in the Asia-Pacific region. The focus was born out of a necessity to build and sustain unit-training readiness while executing operations in support of a geographic combatant commander. The balance of these two requirements mandated the need for a fully developed and large-scale training exercise.
