In my lifelong pursuit of an Army career, I have been privileged to have wise and intentional mentors that have guided me towards Army Aviation and the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA). As my interest in the Army Aviation community grew, I joined AAAA as a young 18 year old, and subsequently applied for AAAA's scholarship. I first experienced AAAA's generous service to its community as I received a scholarship that financially assisted my first year at Marion Military Institute. The following year, I began my four year experience at the United States Military Academy. It was there I studied Arabic and Terrorism Studies, broadened my horizons in a semester abroad to Jordan, trained at the Army's Airborne School and Basic Military Mountaineering Course, learned and worked with the FBI, and solidified my passion and drive to be an Army Aviator.
