Maxvision has released its new X Class Maxpac 8242XRA high-end 3D computers that tackle the advanced modelling, analysis and geospatial intelligence operations that just seem to 'happen' behind the scenes. The new ruggedised Maxpac is powered by two quad core Intel Xeon 5580 processors (just released by Intel), supports 4 GB of video memory, up to 48 GB of triple-channel DDR3 Ram and eight Terabytes of removable hard disk space.
