The topic of considerations are arbitrary elastic and isotropic structures analysed in plane stress states assuming small strain theory. The purpose of the paper is to indicate the need to evaluate the fulfilling of the completed compatibility conditions. In the determining procedure of the stresses either strains we assume ρ~(33) = 0 and for the proved relations ρ~(33) = ρ~(13) = 0 the remaining components ρ~(11), ρ~(22) and ρ~(12) of the compatibility tensor can differ from zero. In consequence they may imply, that the obtained solution is useless.
