International Symposium on Sound Engineering and Tonmeistering

International Symposium on Sound Engineering and Tonmeistering, ISSET, is organised every two years by the Polish Section of the Audio Engineering Society. ISSET serves as a forum for exchanging ideas and discussion for audio engineers, recording engineers, scientists and other professionals related to audio engineering. The first Symposium, initiated by Professors Marianna Sankiewicz and Gustaw Budzyhski, was held at the Technical University of Gdansk in 1985. The 13th Symposium, held from 16 to 19 October 2009, was hosted by the Fry-deryk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, and was attended by over 160 participants, 70 of whom were students of various specialties related to audio engineering.
