"The young wild ones" is a term often used to describe Daniel Niggli and Mathias Myekker, With overrn100 projects, numerous competition successes and dozens of completed buildings within a space of only twelve years this team is certainly one of the most successful young offices in Switzerland.rnTheir approach to design is a very special one: they describe their buildings as "relational objects", which means that they want all their designs to be understood in their respective contexts. In certain cases this is clear: when, as part of the reconstruction of Hardbruecke railway station in Zurich, the flow of movement of pedestrians was modified and graphic elements added to it, this strengthened the existing structure and gave it identity, but without fundamentally changing it.
