New lecture hall building for the Montanuniversitaet Leoben, Austria -A new interpretation of modernist principles

Gangoly & Kristiner Architekten have carried out a complete re-furbish ment of the lecture hall buildingthat Karl Raimund Lorenz erected in the Montan-universitat (mining university) Leoben in the 1960s. In the course of their work they were equally concerned with preserv-ingthe historic core of the building and with giving it a contemporary appearance.
