The use of architectural models in the 20th/21 st century

It is difficult to imagine that until recently nobody ever thought of exploring, in the framework of an exhibition, the use of the model which, alongside the drawing and at least until the arrival of the nowadays ubiquitous computer, has long been a central instrument of architectural design and presentation. But this indeed seems to be the case. Therefore curator Oliver Elser cannot be too highly praised for this idea and for the convincing and, in the best sense, pleasurable, way he has implemented it.
