The residential building of a farmstead is also a kind of sin-gle family house. Generally speaking, such houses are used for generations and over centuries. Only rarely is a new farmhouse built, and even more rarely does it make use of the possibilities offered by contemporary architecture. But in Upper Austria this has been done in an exemplary fashion.
