Increases in density and the use of prefabrication, contextualisation, as well as social and ecological concerns are currently the most important themes in the Polish architecture discourse. After a number of internationally acclaimed memorials, now the urban substance is being addressed - against a background of constantly increasing material and labour costs resulting from the current Polish economic boom that is a subject of admiration across Europe.
